| Standard D-connector shells with separate gold-plated pins for plugs and sockets, enabling connectors to be constructed with pins only in the positions where a connection is required. Plug housings and socket housings are available and plug-pins or sockets simply snap in from the rear after soldering or crimping wires to them.
